We’re now heading into the middle of summer and the change over between main crop from last year, and the new crop that is now growing happily in the field.

The last day for ordering the current potatoes will be next Tuesday 13^th and we won’t accept any orders after that date. Our new crop will be ready approx. 15^th July. The reason we#re stopping supply on the 13^th is because while they’ll keep well in the farm climate controlled sheds, they may start to sprout in your homes as it’s a lot warmer and we want to keep the quality of our service high.

The new crop @July 15^th will be early ‘new’ potatoes and they will only last for around a week to ten days – some of you will go through a 25kg bag in that time but for those that won’t we’ll be selling 12.5kg boxes AND 6kg boxes. The potatoes will be harvested in the morning, packed at lunchtime and will be picked up by parcelforce at the farm at 4pm and they’ll then go on mainly an overnight delivery.
