Introducing our new flavouring range!

Ever thought about making your own crisps? Our potatoes are crisping quality which means you can easily make your own and save up to 90% (yes – 90%!) on the cost of crisps. We have two little boys and they love crisps but we make our own, pack them in tupperware boxes and send them off to school. We never get the tupperware back though – what is it about kids and school and water bottles and tupperware?! Sheesh..

It takes a little time but are very very easy to make (video coming shortly) and the savings are massive, just make them, let them cool and pop them in a bag or bowl with the dust and shake – Perfect!They’ll last for weeks. Sometimes…

We asked a selection of our customers to try our ‘potato dust’ and the response was terrific – great flavour and taste exactly like shop bought. So we’re going to start selling three flavours – Salt & Apple Cider Vinegar, Thai Sweet Chilli & Maple Bacon with more flavours to come. INGREDIENTS
SERVES 4
  • 1 lb Markies Potatoes
  • 1 tbsp Oil,
  • 1/2 tsp Seasoning, Italian
  • 1/4 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1 tbsp Asiago Cheese, Shredded
  • 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Chives, raw
INGREDIENTS
SERVES 4
  • 1 lb Markies Potatoes
  • 1 tbsp Oil,
  • 1/2 tsp Seasoning, Italian
  • 1/4 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1 tbsp Asiago Cheese, Shredded
  • 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Chives, raw

DIRECTIONS

1Preheat oven to 450°F.
2Cut potatoes into wedges and transfer to a medium mixing bowl.
3Add canola oil, Italian seasoning, and salt to potatoes — stir.
4Pour potatoes onto a baking sheet and bake for 18 minutes.
5Remove potatoes from the oven and loosen potatoes from the bottom using a spatula.
6Sprinkle cheese over the top and return to the oven for 2 minutes.
7Remove from oven and serve with Greek yogurt — sprinkle fresh chives over the top.
